Our Services
Network Housing understands it is hard to relocate to new surroundings, which is why we provide a service that is tailored to everyone’s needs. We are there to support the entire transition of moving and throughout the tenancy, helping the tenants settle in and get their life back on track.
A support plan is devised for each tenant. This is to ensure the relocation process runs smoothly and the tenant has full support whilst integrating into their new surroundings.
• Support with applying for relevant benefits
• Support with registering with doctors and dentists
• Support with enrolling children into local schools, and help with sourcing uniform
• Support with community clubs and places of worship to help make new friends
• Support with where to source day to day goods locally and manage their budgets
• Support in helping tenants back into work or helping them enrol for training courses or apprenticeships
• Support with applying for relevant grants and social funds to ensure they are in receipt of all the help they are eligible for.
Life Skills Workshop
At network Housing, we believe that once the client has been relocated, we should do everything possible to help them settle fully into their new home and that they should not feel adrift.
To this end we have devised a life skills workshop to help alleviate any issues they may come across.
Each tenant will attend an in-house life skills workshop which is designed and tailored to each individual in order to help the family sustain a long-term tenancy, and also get back on their feet and settle into their new home easily. The aim of the support is to help maximise tenants’ level of independence.
These workshops are held at Network Housing’s head office, run by in-house support coach and IT support. They are specially designed to support tenants with aspects of daily life.
Long Term Support
It is understandable that when moving to a new city and a new home with no financial stability in place, and not knowing anyone in the area, it can be quite overwhelming, hence the full, consistent support from Network Housing during the initial period.
We ensure families have everything they need for them to get throughout their day. Our dedicated Support Officers get in touch with their allocated clients regularly to see how they are settling in, and to see if they need anything. They are there to make sure that the wellbeing of their tenants is considered at all times, which is why we provide a service that is tailored to everyone’s needs. We are there to support the entire transition of moving and throughout the tenancy, helping the tenants settle in and get their life back on track.
Once the initial period of uncertainty and immediate needs have been addressed, we will ensure that we will continue to provide the same level of support for as long as required and needed – it has no expiry date!
The Network Housing team likes to think of themselves as new friends for the families. We pride ourselves in being available 24/7, all year round, supporting their clients.
